Kevin is a renowned security expert with nearly four decades of experience spanning law enforcement, property management, and advanced tactical training. His distinguished career began in 1985 with York Regional Police, where he rose to the rank of Sergeant (Acting Staff) during his 30-year tenure. Kevin’s expertise in leadership, crisis management, and public safety was complemented by his role as the force’s first Defensive Tactics Instructor, where he designed and implemented use-of-force programs for over a decade. As a founding member of Ontario’s multi-service committee, Kevin helped develop the province’s landmark Use of Force wheel—a framework still in use today.

Beyond his law enforcement career, Kevin has made a lasting impact in martial arts. Starting his journey in Jiu-Jitsu in 1973 in Richmond Hill, Ontario, he earned his black belt in 1977, later achieving black belts in Kempo Karate and Ketsedo Te Jitsu. Kevin was inducted into the Eastern USA Martial Arts Hall of Fame in 1993, a testament to his dedication to martial arts and defensive tactics.

In the private sector, Kevin has trained specialized law enforcement units such as TTC Special Constables and Metro Toronto Housing Authority Special Constables, as well as corporate clients like Bombardier Aerospace. He also managed operations as the owner of Delta Group Property Management and Delta Group Security Training, combining his operational expertise with advanced tactical instruction.

At APEXIA, Kevin designs and delivers a wide range of training programs, including use-of-force protocols, risk management, and security leadership. In addition to his expertise in tactical instruction, Kevin creates and facilitates management and soft skills programs focused on leadership development, conflict resolution, team communication, and decision-making under pressure. His ability to blend decades of hands-on experience with tailored training solutions ensures participants gain practical knowledge and actionable strategies.
